Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all bookings, appointments, payments, and services arranged through JAI CORP.

By booking services through JAI CORP, customers and professionals agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel scheduled services subject to the following conditions:

Cancellations With More Than 48 Hours Notice

If a customer cancels a booking at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time:

  • The customer may receive a full refund of eligible payments.
  • Processing fees or non-refundable third-party transaction fees may still apply.

Cancellations Between 24 and 48 Hours

If a customer cancels between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled appointment:

  • The customer will receive a 50% refund of the total service amount.
  • The remaining 50% may be retained to compensate for scheduling loss, reserved time, and administrative costs.

Cancellations With Less Than 12 Hours Notice

If a customer cancels less than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment time:

  • No refund will be issued.
  • The full service amount may be retained.

This policy exists because professionals reserve time, labor, scheduling availability, and travel arrangements.

Customer Dissatisfaction Policy

JAI CORP aims to maintain high-quality service standards.

If a customer is not reasonably satisfied with the completed work, the following conditions may apply:

Partial Customer Refund

After review and approval by JAI CORP:

  • The customer may receive a refund of up to 50% of the total amount paid.

Refund eligibility will depend on:

  • Quality of completed work
  • Supporting photos or evidence
  • Communication records
  • Scope of work agreed upon
  • Professional conduct
  • Service completion status

JAI CORP reserves the right to determine refund eligibility at its sole discretion.

Professional Responsibility

If JAI CORP determines that the professional failed to complete the work properly, violated platform standards, or delivered unacceptable service:

  • The professional may be required to return 100% of the amount paid to them by JAI CORP.
  • Additional penalties, account restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform may apply.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may be denied in situations including but not limited to:

  • Customer changes of mind after work begins
  • Delays caused by the customer
  • Incomplete access to the property
  • Additional work requested outside the original scope
  • Pre-existing property conditions
  • Customer absence at scheduled appointments
  • Services already substantially completed

Dispute Resolution

Customers and professionals agree to attempt good-faith resolution of disputes before legal action.

JAI CORP may review:

  • Messages
  • Photos
  • Estimates
  • Invoices
  • Service agreements
  • Appointment history
  • Platform records

JAI CORP reserves the right to make final platform-related decisions regarding refunds and disputes.

Processing Time

Approved refunds may take:

  • 5 to 10 business days

depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

Fraud & Abuse Prevention

JAI CORP reserves the right to deny refunds in cases involving:

  • Fraudulent claims
  • Abuse of refund requests
  • False statements
  • Chargeback abuse
  • Manipulation of platform policies

Accounts engaging in abusive behavior may be suspended or permanently removed.

Independent Professionals

Professionals using the JAI CORP platform operate as independent contractors unless otherwise stated.

JAI CORP acts as a marketing and service coordination platform and is not directly responsible for independent contractor actions beyond platform administration and dispute handling.

Changes To This Policy

JAI CORP reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.

Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
